This is the reason why cat family land on feet

Most of the cat family member has a special ability to fell on their feet when they fell from anywhere. Cats are scientifically known as Felidae, which are very famous species carnivorous mammals.

The cats species includes Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Jaguars, Cats and many more. These all when fell from a height pretends to fell on their feet. this is because of Righting Reflex. Cats body structure supports too for doing this motion. It has flexible spines and shoulder which mold according to their needs. From young age they develop their senses that rotate their body in mid air. While falling cats spread their legs on air which helps to slow their speed and at last fell on legs.

Bigger cats such as lions are probably not able to balance themselves most of the time. This is because of their bigger size and height issue.
